Wooden chopping boards can get a lot of use and abuse in your kitchen but if you regularly apply this rich conditioning oil, they will live their best life, for many year that follow. 

Formulated from a special blend of food safe wood nourishing oils. And we're not just talking vegetable oils here – food safe oils that have a long history as ingredients for traditional wood finishes. It's like a food safe equivalent of Danish Oil, Teak Oil.

Regular application will keep your board from drying out and cracking, plus bring back the woods natural lustre and grain highlights. The preferred finish for many professional chopping board manufacturers.

Instructions for use

Clean the wood: You want your cutting board to be as clean as possible and thoroughly dry. Spread some coarse salt on the board and rub with half a lemon. This is like a natural disinfectant and can get rid of any lingering odours and bacteria. Then wipe the board clean and let dry thoroughly.

Apply the oil: Using a clean, soft cloth or paper towel, apply a generous coat of oil evenly over the wood.

Let it soak in: Leave the oil to soak in - overnight if possible, or for at least a few hours. If your board is particularly dry, or hasn't been conditioned in a while, apply 2 to 3 coats, letting it dry for a few hours in between.

Remove the excess: Using a dry, clean cloth or paper towel, buff off any remaining oil so that the board does not feel damp or sticky.
