James Northfield was a pioneer of lithography in Australia and also was a prolific artist using oil, watercolour, gouache, scraperboard, pen & pencil. Many Australian Companies used him to advertise their products such as Kiwi, CUB, Pelaco, Palmolive, Stoneyfell, Penfolds & McWilliams; Cottees, TAA and Triumph Motorcycles. Many famous posters by Tourism Australian were created by him, capturing the unique colour, light and atmosphere of the Australian landscape. This particular artwork was used to promote Mildura, Victoria.
Condition: Preloved, pristine. Just two small dents on the edge of side of box possibly from storage, as looks like this puzzle has either never been used, or opened maybe once.
